Renaissance Foundation is a specialist youth charity providing support to young carers and young people with chronic illness, aged between 12 - 18.

Our vision is that no young person should be held back because of their caring responsibilities or health condition. It’s our mission to empower young carers and patients to develop core skills, prepare for successful transition to adulthood and reach their full potential using world-class inspirational opportunities.

We’re excited to share that 2025–26 Impact Report is here, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything we’ve achieved! 109 young people supported. 459 hours of contact. 94% improved their confidence. 96% rated sessions 4 or 5
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, our young people partook in a session that is part of our Six Ways to Wellbeing programme, with a soundbath led by the one and only @sujata_din. With exams just starting, it gave them the chance to ground them

  • It is completely free to join the programme and all the activities we provide are free of any charge to young people.

  • 16, we can accept 17 on a case by case basis.

  • Sessions take place at our City Youth Hub, in Aldgate, or externally when we visit inspiring locations.

  • No, but the individual must be well and confident enough to independently travel to programme activities.

  • Yes, multiple family members are welcome to participate in the programme.

  • The charity has returned to in-person activities. Drop In Sessions take place at our City Youth Hub in Aldgate.
