School Assemblies
Empower your students
The aim of a Renaissance Foundation assembly is to raise awareness of young carers and those with health conditions among students. We hope this may encourage some to consider issues relating directly to themselves for the first time and seek support where needed whilst creating a safe environment at your school where everyone feels accepted for who they are..
Outcomes
Students who are not already identified as young carers will understand if they are a young carer and how to get support.
Students will learn the barriers and challenges faced by young carers and those with health conditions.
By raising awareness, students will gain insight into how these young people may feel and create a more accepting and understanding environment at school where everyone can feel safe and accepted for who they are.
